Privacy Policy of Freddy and the French
Fries, Ltd.
The entire staff at Freddy and the French Fries, Ltd., (FFF)
is concerned about the on-line protection of minors. In compliance
with the Child
Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and its desire to
follow the legislation's intent to extend privacy protection
to minors, FFF has developed the following privacy policy.
Please read and review this policy prior to providing any
information on-line.
General Information and Personal Information Use
The FFF Web forms are divided between those available for
all users, regardless of age, and those available to users
ages 18 and over.
Forms designed for minors under the age of 18 request only
the user's first name and state of origin. FFF stores and
publishes this information to provide a geographical indication
of who created posted items such as book reviews and art
projects. FFF does not track or record any other user information.
Forms designed for adults aged 18 and over request full
contact information, including first and last name, mailing
address, phone number, and email address. FFF also asks
such users to voluntarily confirm their age as being 18
years or older. FFF stores and uses this information only
to correspond in order to clarify details related to submissions.
FFF does not store or use this information to send newsletters,
unsolicited email, or spam.
FFF will not rent or sell any personal information to any
party at any time. FFF will not use any personal information
collected to send unsolicited messages of any kind by any
means. FFF diligently protects the safety and privacy of
all users who provide information of any kind. With its
Web site aimed at younger readers, FFF supports and advocates
the COPPA.
FFF solicits and accepts items mailed to the mailing address
provided (see below). When FFF receives such correspondence,
the staff will use the personal information provided for
return postage only. FFF does not store personal information
received in this manner.
Cookies
A cookie will be stored on the user’s computer by
the FFF polling software, provided by PollMonkey.com. The
cookie contains the username of the person logged onto the
computer and does not contain any individually identifying
information. The information in the cookie is used to determine
whether the user has responded to the poll. Please review
www.PollMonkey.com
to review their privacy policy, which reflects the FFF policy.
Changes to the Policy
